Accommodation in Tokyo

For accommodation, you have five options -

  • You can rent an apartment for about $970 per month. The expenses for agent commission, bills and laundry are separate.
  • You can rent a guesthouse for anywhere between $50 and $100 per night.
  • You can also rent a hotel for a long stay. The cost ranges from $40 per night to $1500 per month.
  • More economical are the youth hostel style hotels where you can take a single room or stay in a dormitory style accommodation.
  • Youth hostels are available at discounted rates if you are a member of IYHA.
